Select Board Meeting was called to order at 2:00 pm.
Roll Call: Beth Downs (Chair), Marlene Freyler, Chip Meany
Also attending: Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator
Regular and Old Business:
Order of the Warrant Articles: Since the total amount of the warrant articles exceeds the 10% NH Department of Revenue rule, Karen presented various scenarios for the ordering. The Board decided that the paving amount could be amended to from $375,000 to $325,000 from the floor at the Town Meeting. If so, the rest of the proposed appropriations could be funded.
Motion: Chip Meany made a motion to move the articles funded by fund balance to the end of the warrant.
Second: Marlene Freyler
Decision: 3-0, all in favor
Karen asked about the article to vote to amend the Town of Bradford’s Zoning Ordinance to reference the NH State Building Code instead of the BOCA National Building code. Karen has contacted but not heard from the Town attorney about this. Chip advised the Board to leave the article as is because the BOCA code is no longer available, and the Building Inspector has been using the NH State code.
Motion: Marlene Freyler moved to adjourn the meeting.
Second: Chip Meany
Decision: 3-0, all in favor.
