The Town of Bradford, New Hampshire is seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. Bradford is governed by a three-member Board of Selectmen and has an annual budget of approximately $3 million.
The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant is responsible for general bookkeeping, interfacing with insurance and benefit companies, and maintaining personnel records. The position interacts directly with the public to provide assistance with assessing, building permit and other general questions. This position also works closely with Town departments.
The successful candidate shall have a High School Diploma and two years post High School education, or a combination of bookkeeping experience and education to qualify. A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping through trial balance is preferred. Strong communication and computer skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
