Announcement: Bradford Area Community Center Future Usage Survey

Share your opinion by completing the survey here.

The Facilities Use Committee has been building a framework for the use of Town-owned spaces. Their work has included identifying the spaces available and calculating the costs associated with each space. For the second floor of Town Hall, the Committee conducted an equipment needs assessment for theater and function usage, and recommended a fee structure for usage.

Recently, the Committee turned their attention to the Bradford Area Community Center. This Town-owned building was renovated with a CBDG (Community Block Development Grant) in 2000 and is currently home to the Mountain View Senior Center and Freyler’s Driving School. The Community Action Program of Belknap/Merrimack Counties operates its Meals On Wheels program out of the building as well serving 10 local communities. The Bradford Area Community Center has an operating budget of approximately $30,000 and generates just over $12,000 in income each year. The Committee is seeking community input as to how the vacant spaces in this building should be used now that the Town Offices have moved out. Please visit share your input by completing the survey. Thank you!
