Review of Budget and Expenditures:

  • Review expenses through August 2021 close
  • Select Board update (Marlene/Karen):
    • Timing on Department budget submissions
    • Update on key budget objectives for 2021 (Town Hall, Bement Bridge, Fire Station Improvements, Main Street Improvements, Fire Truck specifications, etc.)
  • Fire Department Chief
  • Long range plan considerations
  • Any short-term initiatives expected to impact 2022

  • Discuss next steps and timing

Future Business:

  • Next Budget Committee meeting is October 21st
  • Important dates:
    • Target budget submission date is XXX (Oct 15th per bylaws)
    • CIP Target complete by Nov 1st
    • Feb 11, 2022 last date to hold 1st Public Hearing (must be noticed by Feb 4, 2022)
    • Feb 22, 2021 last date to provide Select Board with Annual Budget
