Meeting was called to order at 6:31pm
Members – Laurie Colburn (Chair), Justin Dohrn, Jen Richardson, Beth Downs (Select Board Rep) and Karen Hambleton, Town Administrator were in attendance

Motion: Justin Dohrn made a motion to elect Laurie Colburn as Chair and Jen Richardson as Vice Chair

The Committee discussed the two open positions on the Committee. Members will continue to seek volunteers and will put some communications online to let folks know these opportunities are open.
The Committee discussed a few of the budget items:
The Town Ball Bond was secured 3.49%, the budget assumption was 3%. The additional $200,000 loan for 10 years is being negotiated.
There was also discussion regarding the open positions planned for French’s Park, the Select Board office administration support and the Planning Board coordinator/Recording Secretary position. The Select Board office support position has been posted, there have been no applicants for the French’s Park position and the Planning Board position is still under discussion. The Recording Secretary support has not been identified although additional support may be available later in the year.
The Committee discussed participation in the Capital Improvement Plan. Jen could possibly participate dependent upon the schedule. Justin would participate but only if he could attend remotely.
The Committee reviewed expenses through May 2022, Beth is concerned about the price of gas; the Community Center budget looks like it will be tight; no other concerns were identified.
A discussion was had as to how whether there could be visibility created into understanding the unanticipated revenue from grants and how that impacts the demands of the general budget and how future Budget Committees could understand previous trends in spending to get a feeling of reasonableness.
