Meeting called to order at 5:10 p.m.
Present: Marlene Freyler, Jarna Perkins, Erica Gross
1. Jarna made a motion to approve the minutes of July 20, 2022. Erica seconded. All in favor, 3-0.
2. The fence at the Bradford Baptist Cemetery was repaired by Dave Camire. Dave donated his time and materials for these repairs. Erica will put a thank you to Dave in the Bradford Bridge.
3. Jarna reported that an area in Pleasant Hill Cemetery had been cleared to expose some cemetery stones that had been over grown. Four stones have been exposed. Fritz and his crew have also done some clearing and dead stump removal in Sunny Plain Cemetery. They also cleared brush along the stone wall and around the large trees.
4. We had a discussion regarding buying back cemetery plots and agreed that we would continue to do that if appropriate.
5. Jarna met with Keith from Cornerstone Cemetery Services at several cemeteries. We made a decision that we would choose stones that had fallen over and leaning stones that might be a future hazard. The committee decided to move forward with this estimate. Marlene made a motion to hire Cornerstone Cemetery Services. Erica seconded the motion. All in favor,
3-0.
