Group DiscussionScott McCaskill (Town Trustee) reviewed and discussed the various cemetery funds/accounts and trust accounts. There were several questions regarding additions and withdrawals, listed in the 2023 Town report, that Scott will investigate and provide the Trustees with answers. He confirmed that income from the perpetual care account can be used for cemetery repairs.
Proposed Bradford Bridge article, regarding size and pricing of cemetery lots and updated 2025 Rules and Regulations, was reviewed and approved for publication.
Dawn Gezelman confirmed that the Colby Cemetery is the last cemetery that requires assessment. This assessment will be completed prior to the next meeting. Once completed the Trustees will review all cemetery assessments and create a priority list of work to be done in 2025.
A licensed plumber assessed the current plumbing system, in the Sunny Plains Cemetery, on October 10. He will provide Dawn Gezelman with an estimate of the work discussed. Once this estimate is received, she will share it with the Trustees.
Marlene Freyler is working with two tree service companies to obtain estimates for required tree work.
Proposed 2025 Cemetery budget reviewed and discussed.
