Bradford Conservation Commission Meeting Minutes
June 16, 2015, 7:00 pm, at Brown Memorial Library
Present: George Beaton, Seth Benowitz, Nathanial Bruss, J Ann Eldridge, Meg Fearnley, Patty Furness, Scott MacLean, Brooks McCandlish
Secretary’s Report: The meeting minutes of 5/19/15 were accepted as recorded.
Treasurer’s Report: Meg stated there is $1.78 earned interest on accounts.
Association of Conservation Commission Annual Meeting: Ann reported there will be a Wetland Association workshop on 6/26 in Concord, and also
Wetland Inventory Workshop: Sonny Harris and Jim Bilbo recently attended this workshop and reported to the Bradford Planning Board, who is aware of the current inventory for reference purposes.
Bradford Masterplan Update: Garrett Bauer is head of this subcommittee. Ann reinforced that we need to communicate with the Planning Board regarding the cost of community services.
Ausbon Sargent July 4th Educational Booth: Seth confirmed that Cindy will drop off materials needed for the booth. Set up will begin at 7:45a.m.; Seth is in charge with Scott and Patty assisting and providing relief. Scott will be conducting a guided walk of the Bradford Pines at 11a.m. Seth will submit an informational article to The Bradford Bridge.
Old BCC Stuff: The archives located in Ann’s barn will be moved back to Town Hall when the town offices move. Treasures include past inventories, Secretary’s minutes, and Perry Teele’s wonderful maps.
The meeting adjourned at 7:50pm. The next scheduled meeting is Tuesday July 21, 2015, 7pm, at Brown Memorial Library.
