The predicted fire danger for today is a Statewide Class 4.
Temperature: Today will be partly cloudy to mostly clear skies with temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 70s.
Humidity: Minimum relative humidity values will be between 30 to 45 percent inland and near 57 percent on the seacoast.
Wind: Will be between 5 to 11 mph with gusts up to 21 mph inland, and around 14 mph with gusts up to 26 mph on the seacoast.
Cooler temperatures and higher dew points will lead to higher humidity levels as moist maritime air moves across the region.
However, the fire danger will remain very high due to very dry fuel conditions and breezy winds. Moist conditions with higher humidity levels will persist into next week.
