Review and Consideration of Minutes
Minutes of February 3, 2016 reviewed and approved with no changes.
Members of the Corvus Training Group came to the meeting and presented their plans for developing a multidimensional training Facility here in Bradford. Corvus Training Group provides education to law enforcement, military, civilian professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. They were given the application for a site plan and once that is completed and returned to the board there will be a public hearing held.
Master Plan:
A final draft was presented to the board with only a few additional changes. Claire James will get in contact with the moderator for the Bradford Town Meeting and ask if there are any concerns with having the survey distributed during the town meeting. Claire is also going to look into putting the survey on Survey Monkey and having it sent out through email to residents of Bradford in hopes of reaching the members of Bradford that are not able to attend the Bradford Town Meeting on March 8th.
Sign Ordinance:
It was brought to the boards attention that there currently is a time restriction on when businesses can have illuminated signs. “Signs may only be illuminated between the hours of 7AM-9PM or with site plan approval, during the hours the premises are open to the public.” A question has been added to the Master Plan regarding how the residents of Bradford feel about illuminated signs around town. Once the data has been returned from the survey, the board will have a better view on how to proceed.
