Farm Stand Site Plan Application- Map 17 Lot 37
Site Plan Application submitted by Pierre Hahn for Map 17 Lot 37. Application included site plan, detailed maps, photos and letters of permission from land owner and abutter providing parking. Applicant submitted waiver for escrow fee and site plan application fee. Board advised application fee is to cover administrative costs. Board discussed signage options and set back requirements for non-permanent structures. Planning Board will look into distance from road requirements and options for leaving structure up year round and inform applicant at the Public Hearing.
-Motion made to waive the $400 escrow fee. Vote passed 5-0.
Public Hearing is scheduled for May 12, 2015 at 7:00pm at the BACC before the next regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting.
Surveyor Letter- Map 6 Lot 82
Chair and Selectmen’s Rep visited site in question with surveyor who initially reported the incorrectly set bounds. Chair read to record a letter addressed to NH Joint Board of Licensure detailing the wrongdoing.
Review and Consideration of Minutes
Motion made to approve minutes of April 14, 2015 without edits. Vote passed 4-0. Mark Keith abstained.
NH Method Workshop
Selectmen’s Rep presented the NH Method 2-Day Workshop and encouraged Planning Board members to attend. Workshop is to train community volunteers the method for inventorying and evaluating freshwater wetlands in NH.
CIP Nomination List
CIP Department Head Nomination List reviewed. Board discussed Board of Selectmen’s role in requiring dept head attendance.
-Motion made to accept list of CIP Nominees. Vote passed 5-0.
-Motion made to define a quorum for CIP meetings as 4 members present. Vote passed 5-0.
Additional Business
– The Planning Board briefly discussed the need for clarified wording and requirements of drill holes in Bradford Subdivision Regulations. Board will continue discussion and potential amendment at next meeting.
– It was pointed out that of the five gravel pit owners in Bradford, a Notice of Intent to Excavate has been received from only one. Board members will reach out to remaining pit owners.
The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2015 after the Public Hearing at 7:00pm. Meeting adjourned at 8:28pm
