PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
May 12th, 2020
7:00 PM HELD REMOTELY VIA ZOOM PLATFORM
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm
Members Present: Pam Bruss (Chair), Carol Troy (Vice Chair) Carol Meise, Laurie Colburn, Michael James (Selectmen) and Mel Pfeifle.
Members Absent: Tom Dunne and Alternates Steve Chase, Doug Troy.
Public Present: Sandy Hodskins and Sam Overbeck.
To Do:
- Review and consideration of the April 28th, 2020 minutes
Motion: Laurie motioned to accept minutes with the following edits; correct last name Southerland to Southard, Carol troy capitalize T, correct last name Pfeifle, correct 230 thousand to 230 million.
Second: Carol Meise
Decision: Roll call-Pam Bruss– Ayes, Carol Troy- Ayes, Carol Meise- Ayes, Laurie Colburn-Ayes, Michael James- Ayes, and Mel Pfeifle- Ayes.
- Reviewed drafted letter to: George and Wendy M. Naughton

Motion: Laurie motioned to accept the letter drafted by pam and to send letter to the Naughton’s.
Second: Carol Meise
Decision: Roll call- Pam Bruss– Ayes, Carol Troy- Ayes, Carol Meise- Ayes, Laurie Colburn-Ayes, Michael James- Ayes, and Mel Pfeifle- Ayes.
- Carol Troy followed up with interested CIP Committee members, the CIP committee at this juncture are trying to decide on a time and date for meetings to be held. The CIP committee is looking to hold their first meeting towards the end of June ,2020.
Michael James expressed that it would be a good idea to let the public know that they can attend and contribute input at the CIP committee meetings.
Appearances:
- Sandy Hodskins had questions in regards to RSA236-114A (Junkyards). Sandy Hodskins asked about the possibility of it being changed and enforced?
The Planning Board informed Sandy Hodskins that any changes made to RSA236-114a is conducted by the State of New Hampshire.
A letter can be sent to the Board of Selectman in regards to enforcement.
Michael James stated to attend the upcoming Board of Selectmen meeting to be held on May 18,2020.
Other Communications:
- The Zoning Board has a site walk scheduled on May 20th,2020 at 3:00pm for a variance application Map 18, Lot 13 located on 244 Breezy Hill Road.
- The Planning Board discussed communication with Tom Dunne, Tom Dunne will be in attendance once the current COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
- Sonny Harris has expressed interest in becoming an alternate. The Planning Board verbalized that an email should be sent to planningboard@bradfordnh.org when communication is received Sonny Harris will be added to the agenda for the May 26th, 2020 Planning Board meeting.
