AUGUST 23, 2011

Call to Order and Roll Call:

Marcia Keller, Chair called the meeting to order at 7:00pm with Phil LaMoreaux, Jim Bibbo, Mark Keith Alternate, Barry Wheeler, Selectmen Representative, and Marge Cilley, Secretary present. Bill Glennie, Sonny Harris and John Greenwood were absent.

Caryl Walker sat in as an interested prospective alternate.

Marcia Keller, Chair seated Mark Keith for Bill Glennie.

Review and Consideration of the July 26, 2011 minutes:

Motion was made by Phil LaMoreaux to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by Jim Bibbo. Motion carried 3-0. Barry Wheeler abstained.

Joe Torro – 718 West Road-Lot Line Adjustment-Map 4, Lot 29 & 30:

Joe Torro came before the Planning Board to get a signed copy of his plan and to see when he could receive the MCRD receipt number. Phil LaMoreaux will take the information to Merrimack County Registry of Deeds on Wednesday and will take the receipt number to him after that. All copies were signed tonight. A copy of his Notice of Decision was also given to Mr. Torro tonight.

Notice of Vegetative screening for TDS from Provan & Lorber was acknowledged.

Copy of letters from the Selectmen’s Office to Lumber Barn and Carolyn Demers was noted. Question is what is the next step by the Selectmen?

Minimum Impact Expedited Application for the Town of Bradford for a culvert on Davis Road, signed by the Administrator, Conservation Commission and the Town Clerk.

Boat ramp sign size located at Lake Massasecum was discussed and it was stated that it is on Town property. It was discussed and decided that the sign size information should come from the Zoning Board Ordinance.

Motion was made by Phil LaMoreaux to hold a Public Hearing at the September 13, 2011 regular Planning Board Meeting to strike the language dealing with Signs in the Site Plan Regulations and add reference to ZBA Article VII. Seconded by Marcia Keller. Motion carried 5-0.

Conversation ensued regarding Corsair Realty Gravel Pit on Pleasant Valley Road.

Planning Board Office problems:

The Planning Board Office Copier is in need of service, and will be checked out, whether it could be fixed, or a new one purchased for less money. Also one of the file drawers is stuck and will not open. Phil LaMoreaux moved files around and did un-stick the drawer.
