PLANNING BOARD
March 28, 2017
Meeting called to order by Erich, Chair, at 7:00PM.
Members Present
Erich Caron, Chair; Claire James, Vice Chair; Sonny Harris, Selectmen’s Rep; Pam Bruss; Garrett Bauer; Carol Troy; Robert Close; Suzzanne Simano, Alternate (left at 8:47pm)
Members Absent
Doug Troy; Steve Chase, Alternate; Miriam D’Angona; Michael James, Alternate
Minutes: February 28, 2017 minutes were approved with no changes
Elections: Garrett made a motion for Erich Caron to be Chair, Sonny seconded it, vote: 6-0 Erich abstained
Carol made a motion for Claire James to be Vice Chair, Sonny seconded it, vote: 6-0 Claire abstained
Master Plan: Transportation Chapter: Dean Williams: Dean used the last years Master plan plus the data from the survey and he is about 75% complete with the chapter. He handed out hwa the has complted thus far and the Board reviewed the chapter page by page. Dean suggested that once a few chapters are completed that at that point hold a vision session with the Town. The Board aggressed that they will review the chapter more in depth at home and send suggestions and/or questions to Dean via email.
Gravel Pits:
Claire will contact all the gravel pit owners and would like to set up inspections starting the beginning of April through mid May. Carol is interested in going on some of the inspections but she informed the Board that she will be out of Town for most of April.
Other Business:
- 23rd Annual Spring Planning & Zoning Conference is April, 29th 2017. Pam, Bob, and Claire are defiantly interested in attending and Carol and Garrett are interested but need to look at their schedules. The secretary will look into how much money is in the budget for conferences to see how many people can attend through the Town.
The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday April 11, 2017 at 7:00pm at BACC.
