August 23, 2016
Meeting called to order by Claire James, Vice Chair, at 7:10PM.

Review and Consideration of Minutes
Minutes of Aug. 9 were accepted with the following addition: Add that Tom Culllinane attended the meeting but thought it was the Zoning Board meeting
Gravel Pit Inspections:
Currently there is only one gravel pit that has expired and that is owned by Harriet Hobbs, Claire will reach out to Harriet and see what her plans are for that property. The Board would like to set up inspection for the other 4 gravel pits in Bradford for September 2016. Board Secretary will put together letters to all the owners asking to set up a time for the inspections. Once a date has been established for the inspection the Board will reach out to the ZBA and the Conservation Committee to see if they would like to join the inspection. Carol informed the Board that she would be interested in being present on at least one of the inspections.
Master Plan:
Claire has run into a few technical difficulties entering the surveys but she is working with Sam Durphy at the Regional Planning Office on fixing the issues. Other than that there is nothing to report at this time.
Sign Ordinance:
The subcommittee met last Monday and is making a lot of progress on the ordinance. They asked Garret to attend the next meeting on Aug. 29th at 7:00pm to help the group go over temporary signs regulations. The subcommittee is going to get a hold of Laura at the Bradford Business Association to see when they are meeting next and ask if two members of the subcommittee could attend their next meeting and inform them what they are planning on doing with the sign ordinance.
The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday September 13, 2016 at 7:00pm at BACC.
