Review and Consideration of Minutes
Several edits were made to 9.09.13 Planning Board Minutes.
- Add “Alternate” after Steve Chase to identify him.
- Note the fact that Selectman’s Representative, Sonny Harris, arrived at 8:15pm.
Motion was made to approve the minutes for September 9, 2014 with edits. Motion carried 6-0.
Gravel Pit Update
The Gravel Pit Subcommittee gave an update on the pending Preview and Education Session for Gravel Pit owners and town residents with gravel deposits on their property. The projected date for the Preview is 10.28.14 and for the Education Session is 11.3.14. Question of the availability of the Senior Room and a projector came up and it was agreed that Phil Stockwell and Jim Valiquet should be contacted for scheduling and information. Invitations for the Gravel Pit Educational Session will go out by the beginning of October.
Planning Board Review of Capital Improvements Program Report
Each chapter of the Draft CIP was reviewed without edits. The Draft Municipal Improvement Schedule was reviewed line by line and raised several questions, including better definition of the Net Impact on Town Tax Rate and an edit on the method of financing for 51-HD-2015 Improvement of West Main Street. As agreed at the Planning Board Meeting 9.9.14 Camila Devlin will submit these questions to Stephanie Alexander by email. A Public Hearing will be scheduled for 10.28.14 at 7pm.
Motion was made to accept the Draft CIP report. Motion approved 6-0.
As there was no other business to come before the board, meeting adjourned at 9:05pm.
