Attending the Auction held at 149 East Main Street were: Selectmen, Harry Wright, Chair, Sonny Harris, John Pfeifle, Emory Sanders, Auctioneer, Pro-Bono, Cheryl Behr and Marge Cilley.
Opening remarks were made by Emory Sanders, who very generously volunteered his time and expertise to help in selling the parcels owned by the Town of Bradford.
Mr. Sanders explained the process of the auction by signing up and paying the required $2,500.00 and receiving a number. If you were unsuccessful in bidding, your money would be returned immediately. A Quit Claim Deed would be received upon receipt of the balance within 30 days per order of the Selectmen. Mr. Sanders also advised there were no tax burdens associated with this sale.
About thirty interested attendees were at the 10:00am auction of town property on July 27, 2013 with seven total signing up to bid, with the following results.
Lot 1 2.29 Acres- corner of West Road/South Ridge Road, Map 5, Lot 25
