The Town’s revaluation process is in its final stages. Letters containing the preliminary values were mailed on October 16th. The letter contains information on the building components that were used to arrive at the new assessment value. It also contains the phone number to call to make an appointment with the assessor. He will hold assessment reviews from October 28 to October 30, 9:00 am to 3:40 pm at the Bradford Town Hall. Walk-ins are also welcome.
It’s important to remember not to use the 2023 tax rate with the preliminary 2024 assessment to predict your 2024 second half tax bill. The 2024 tax rate will be determined in the next few weeks.
