Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes
December 21, 2015
Pledge of Allegiance
Meeting called to order at 5:30pm
Roll Call- John Pfeifle, Chairman; Sonny Harris, Selectman; Harry Wright, Selectman
Appearances
- Town Clerk, Erica Gross, gave year end budget update on 2015 revenues. On December 30th she will close out the office for the year and swear in new Town Clerk at the end of the day. Town Clerk and Town Administrator will begin meeting on a quarterly basis to review finances.
Regular Business
- Selectmen signed a trustee request for $9,600.00 for purchased Sander
- Freightliner lease will be sent up to lawyer for brief review prior to signing
- Quote received from Davis & Towle for Property/Liability/WC Insurance
- Cemetary RFPs were sent out and are due back January 8, 2016
- Chair requested a letter be sent out to builders of the cell tower requesting information on status. Suggested residents who are unhappy with lack of cell coverage in town contact their service providers requesting service at the tower
- Town office advised several papers were not filled out in the Bement Bridge RFQ process so Selectmen will fill out the necessary paperwork to continue process
- 2016 town operating budget is within 1% of the 2015 budget. The Selectmen will continue to review the Warrant Article and Capital Reserve line items and will vote on the budget by the end of January
- Some materials salvaged from the Breezy Hill Rd Bridge will be returned to the town
- Motion made to not hold a Selectmen’s meeting next week. Voted 3-0
- Town employees will be permitted to go home at Noon on Christmas Eve
The Board of Selectmen would like to thank all of the employees of the town and those who have volunteered over the year for all of their efforts. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Accounts Payable and Payroll Manifest reviewed and signed.
Minutes of December 14, 2015 meeting were reviewed and accepted with no change. Voted 3-0.
The next Selectmen’s meeting will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016.
