Marlene briefly brought up French’s Park. She is working with the Police Chief and Devin Pendleton to review the ordinance and draft the changes needed. She reiterated the problem with the stickers being able to be viewed. It was suggested that perhaps the funding for a French’s Park attendant might qualify for some of the special COVID-19 funding. Marlene suggested that income from the French’s Park trust fund might be used. Karen will share with the Board the language indicting the purpose for both the French’s Park fund and the Parks & Recreation Revolving fund. Karen stated that before the ordinance could be changed a public hearing would need to take place. Select Board hearings on Highway regulations require 14 days notice.
