Regular and Old Business:
The Board reviewed the following Warrant Articles:
- Article 25 – French’s Park attendant
Motion: Chris Frey motioned to increase the amount from $2,000 to $4,000 for French’s Park.

Decision: 2-0
- Article 26 – Sale of Town-owned land
There was some discussion on Article 26 and the verbiage. The suggested wording that will be proposed on the floor at the town meeting will include “open to abutters and sealed bids will be taken.”
- Article 27 – Discontinue portion of Pierce Road
Motion: Chris Frey motioned to recommend this warrant article.

Decision: 2-0
- Article 28 – Place gates and bars on Pierce Road
Motion: Chris Frey motioned to NOT recommend this warrant article.

- Article 30 – Energy Saving Measures for the Library ($8000)

- Article 31 – Sale of Town-owned land suggested by Conservation Commission

There was a discussion about moving the placement of the Warrant Articles. Chris Frey asked about Warrant Article 19. It was decided to remove the non-lapsing language in this warrant article due to the fact that the Fire Chief said the building could not be painted for the amount of $10,000 and it would deplete the Fire Department Repair Capital Reserve Fund.
New Business:
- Karen stated that she has found someone interested in the Recording Secretary position. This person will be responsible for taking minutes at Select Board and Budget Committee meetings. Karen will continue to advertise for a Recording Secretary for the Planning and Zoning Boards.
- The Board discussed the topic of Town Meeting, the room capacity and whether or not it should be moved to May. Karen, Chris and Marlene will go check out the space with Brackett Scheffy by the end of this week.
