Spring & Summer 2014 Programs
Welcome to Spring! Parks and Rec events and programs coming up are listed below. We are always looking for new ideas so please let us know if there’s something you think we can do!
Baton – Classes will be on Wednesday afternoons. We are looking for a parent/volunteer to work on this.
French’s Park Annual Clean-up -is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th 9 am – 12 pm. Please bring your rakes etc. and join us for our annual clean up. Refreshments will be provided.
Beef Roast and 4th of July activities – July 4th and 5th – look for information around town and in local papers. We plan to close off Main Street in front of the BACC and have music and dancing…
Swim Lessons – We are partnering with the Concord YMCA to provide swim lessons this year. There will be a 1:5 teacher to student ratio and a YMCA lifeguard on duty. More information coming soon.
Is anyone interested in a participating in a program that would pair area youth and seniors in activities (learning to knit, crochet, quilt or learning how to text, use Facebook…….)
How about a monthly movie night and/or pot luck dinner at the community center?
If you are interested in finding out more about these events and programs or want more specific information, please feel free to leave messages at the Bradford Area Community Center (938-6228) or email BACC@mcttelecom.com.
