Minutes
Meeting opened at 7:15pm.
Attendance. Brooks MacCandlish, Andrew Pinard, Richard Dionne, Bill Glennie and Nancy McEachern.
Review of Minutes of January 5, 2011. Motion to amend Item 3 by Bill Glennie to read “… a lot with less than the required acres.” Seconded. Passed, 4-0-1.
Election of officers. Andrew Pinard nominated the following slate: Brooks McCandlish, Chair; Bill Glennie, Vice-Chair; and Andrew Pinard, Clerk. Seconded by Bill Glennie. Passed unanimously. It was noted that Marge Cilley was anticipated to continue taking minutes. Nancy McEachern volunteered to assist if/when needed.
Review procedures. Brooks McCandlish passed out the ZBA Rules and Procedures for review and discussion at a future meeting. Andrew Pinard offered to scan pages to produce a word processing file for editing.
OSP Conference. June 11 in Manchester. Brooks will attend, Bill possibly as well.
Alternates needed. Brooks suggested members begin recruitment of potential alternates to be appointed.
New business.
Brooks received two phone calls: one requesting how long a variance lasts (answer exists in Zoning Ordinance: one year for action); and one requesting procedure for building on a non-conforming lot.
Planning Regulation Books were distributed. Three short: Andrew (needs one with CDROM), Richard and one alternate. Brooks will consult with Marge regarding the remainder.
Next meeting: June 1. Andrew notified that he would be unable to attend.
