ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Call to Order and Roll Call:
Brooks McCandlish, Chair called the meeting to order at 7:00pm with George Cilley, Denise Renk, Mark Fournier, Vice Chair and Marge Cilley, Secretary present. Erich Caron and Steve Pierce were absent.
Review and Consideration of June 4, 2014:
Brooks McCandlish, Chair acknowledged the minutes were reviewed and there was nothing to be added and/or changed.
Receipt of Applications:
No new Applications have been received.
Public Hearing – Mark and Laura Black – 24 East Shore Drive – Variance – Map 22, Lot 13:
Mark Black went over his Application describing their anticipated project of adding a 12 foot x 20 foot deck to their property, with a railing. The Five Criterion were each read and explained by Mr. Black, and the board discussed each of these with him, and found them to be acceptable.
There being no further comments/concerns, the Public Hearing was closed by Brooks McCandlish, Chair.
Department Head comments received were acknowledged by Brooks McCandlish, Chair.
Motion was made by George Cilley to approve and grant the requested Variance for Mark Black, 22 East Shore Drive, Map 22, Lot 13 to build a 12 x 20 foot deck on his property. Seconded by Mark Fournier. Motion carried 4-0.
Mr. Black asked what his next step will be. Brooks McCandlish, Chair advised he would be receiving a Notice of Decision advising he has been granted a Variance, and he should be in contact with the Code Inspector.
Tri-folds:
The Tri-folds will be continued to be worked on.
Any Other Business to come before the Board:
Brooks McCandlish, Chair read the resignation letter from the Secretary which will become effective August 31, 2014.
There being no other business, meeting adjourned 8:04pm.
