TOWN OF BRADFORD
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES DRAFT
December 4th, 2019
Members: Brooks McCandlish Chair, Ken Parys Vice-Chair, Nathanial Bruss, Denise Renk and Alternate Bill Duffy (seated) were in attendance.
Stephen Pierce and Alternate Bob Hodges (seated) were absent.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
Appearances:
- There were no appearances.
Minutes from the November 6th, 2019 meeting were reviewed.
Motion: Nathanial Bruss motioned to approve the minutes.
Second: Ken Parys
Decision: 5-0 in favor
Zoning Board Communication:
- The Board discussed a proposed addition to the Zoning Boards Rules and Procedures related to communications with other Town entities.
The final rule was dictated as:
In order to maintain a clear separation between the Bradford Zoning Board of Adjustments (ZBA) and other town entities, all communications between boards will be made in writing and reviewed with the Board. Such requests and any ZBA response will be made part of the public files in their entirety.
This was supported by a process flow document which outlines:
- All communications between Boards will be made in writing to be reviewed at a meeting of the Board.
- Any inquiries and responses will be documented and kept on file at the Town office.
Motion: Bill Duffy motioned to add the communication process to the ZBA’s Rules and Procedures as dictated in the meeting.
Second: Nathanial Bruss
Decision: 5-0 in favor
- The Board discussed the January meeting schedule which would fall on January 1st, 2020 if held on the standard schedule.
Motion: Nathanial Bruss motioned to hold the next meeting on January 8th, 2020.
Second: Ken Parys
Decision: 5-0 in favor
Motion: Nathanial Bruss motioned to adjourn at 7:19pm.
