Scott McCaskill had questions about applying for a variance. He has 41 acres and wants to divide out 5 acres for a new home. The new lot would be on Old Fairgrounds Road and abuts the old Riley property. There appeared to be some problem getting the 50 foot right of way because of the new lot’s location. After some discussion of the board members that a variance wasn’t needed. Instead, it was determined Scott need a special exemption. He was given that application to fill out and the time line on the next steps to be taken.
4.Communications and miscellaneous.
The members of the board discussed our 2022 budget. It was discussed that the line item pertaining to payroll for a the secretary should be increased if we are going to be competitive in hiring someone. Beth Downs made a motion to increase the line item regarding payroll of $925.00 to $1200.00. Bill Duffy seconded the motion.
